The nominations have been announced for the 2008 British Comedy Awards, and Katy Brand has been nominated in the best female comedy newcomer category

Katy will be up against Anna Crilly from Lead Balloon and Isy Suttie (Peep Show).

The British Comedy Awards 2008 will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITV2 on December 6th.
